What the book says about itself – It is a deeply moving and inspiring account of growing up , of the power of faith and how determination and an indomitable spirit can overcome even what destiny throws at you.
A tale , at its core a love – story that makes us question our beliefs about ourselves and our concept of sanity, and forces us to believe that life is truly what one makes it.
About the story :- Set across two cities in the early eighties , Life is What You Make it is a gripping account of a few significant years if Ankita’s life.
Ankita sharma has the world under her feet. She is young , good looking , smart and has tonnes of friends and boys swooning over her. She also manages to get into a premier managment school for her MBA.
six months later , she is in a mental hospital.
Life has cruelly and coldly snatched that which meant the most to her and now she must fight back to get it all back.
My Review :- Life is what you make it , as it says , is actually a story of love , hope and how determinatiom overcomes destiny. The fluent and easy language coupled with cheesy and touchy phrases at according instances will get you all in the book. The characters are so genuine that one can easily related and connect.
Though the author disappointed me for the story line but if it is to be taken boldly as a harsh reality then you will not break your flow.
The book , in all , is a great work of fiction successful in bringing the reality to our eyes and at the same time gives the strength to face it in one’s life.
A simple , connecting and genuine fable . This can be your next pick , if havent read yet , to spend coming days with a lot of strength and inspiration.
Worth – 4.0 / 5
Connectivity – 4.5/5
Language – 4/5
Story – 3.5/5
My rating – 3.9 /5
